I recently had the pleasure and honor to work with international artist Andy Just . The harmonica player from California who has collaborated as Robben Ford, BB King, Bo Diddley, Paul Butterfield and a curriculum of 30 discs in assets, has decided to stop at Kubistudio in a break of his Italian tour to record the sound of new album . Being a blues disc, and having musicians need to record live, everything has been designed to be able to get a clean shot, with less potential returns without affecting the understanding of the artists. So were divided into two rooms: harmonica / vocals in one room, drums, bass guitar in the lounge and two guitar amps and bass in a third room. To enable them to be seen, in the absence of glass between the rooms was made a double line with two video cameras and 2 monitors 32 "which reproduced an image large enough to be easy on the eyes.
pipeline registration GNU / Linux - realtime kernel - Jack - Ardour did not create problems and has proven stable even though they had committed 14 tracks to 44100 16 bit.
The disc is in the mixing stage and will be available at the concerts this summer by the American artist.
