Kubistudio: un primo bilancio

Dopo lo splendido Openday del Kubistudio reso tale dalla partecipazione massiccia di tanti appassionati di musica e libertà digitali, è ora di tirare qualche somma.

Probabilmente alcuni lettori si domanderanno che tipo di risposta è stata ottenuta dal "mercato reale" e se l'uso di software libero in questo campo sia di fatto sostenibile e competitivo.

In 7 mesi di attività abbiamo raggiunto ottimi obiettivi come collaborazioni con radio, produzioni di album, collaborazioni internazionali e registrazioni di demo e speakers, nonchè partnership con realtà operanti nel mondo dell'open source e delle licenze libere.

Nello specifico gli highlight sono stati:

• La costante collaborazione con Lifegate Radio per cui sono state realizzate diverse puntate di Rockfiles (di Ezio Guaitamacchi ) e Natural Mystic (di Bunna degli Africa Unite e Francesco "Frank" Napoleone )
• la registrazione del disco di Andy Just , armonicista blues americano già con The Ford blues band e Robben Ford  
• la produzione del disco di Cecilia Albertini rilasciato sotto l'etichetta Funkyjuice Records e reperibile nei più importanti stores digitali
• la produzione dell'album della band varesina GO! di futuro rilascio
• la registrazione e mix di brani eseguiti dal coro in In laetitia chorus
• la partnership con Opencreativity  

Per la prossima stagione sono in cantiere nuovi progetti ed eventi, perchè qui non ci si ferma mai, beh, forse ad agosto un po' di riposo ce lo meritiamo anche noi :-).
